How does Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray work?

Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride that helps to open up and clear nasal passages by reducing nasal mucus and returning swollen blood vessels to their normal size.

When to use

Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray can be used by adults and adolescents 12 years and older, for the relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. 

How to use

For Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 to 2 sprays in each nostril up to 3 times daily.

Instructions:

  1. Blow your nose gently.
  2. Lean forward slightly and insert the nozzle into a nostril.
  3. Squeeze the bottle once and breathe in gently at the same time.
  4. Remove the nozzle before releasing the pressure on the bottle.
  5. Repeat for the other nostril.
  6. Clean and dry the Nozzle.

We would suggest that you try not to blow your nose for the first few minutes allowing the medicine to get to work.

Do not use continuously for more than 7 consecutive days. If symptoms persist consult your doctor or pharmacist. To avoid possible spread of infection, only one person should use each bottle.
