1950s

Founded in the 50s, Alberto Balsam (then Alberto Culver) has a strong heritage linked back to an entrepreneur in America.

1960s

By this time, Alberto Balsam products were already being sold in more than 65 countries.

1970s

The company’s headquarters moved to London, England. The founder rooted the brand in transparency and quality, which are traits still present in the brand today.

1980s-2000s

Whilst the bottles changed shape, the product themselves always stayed true to the brand: bursting with fruity fragrances and bright colours.

2010 – present
